Coming up roses on playday

I spent a lovely day at The Cubby Hole playday yesterday-I was only going to spend the morning there as I had loads to do, but ended up staying all day-which did me a world of good. They are a great bunch of people, and don't mind if you keep borrowing things from their stash!! I took most of the morning making the roses to add to my vintage dress card as I had never done them before (admittingly, I spent a lot of time chatting, too)The layout of the card was inspired from the March edition of Craft Stamper page 37. the dress is coloured by tattered rose distress ink then brushed with perfect pearls to give it a shimmer.

The roses were made using the free stamp in this month's Craft Stamper and coated with distress stickles.
I also started on a scrapbook page, but haven't finished it yet-will post it when it's done.

I needed to make a quick wedding reply card this morning-so had another play with my new Martha Stewart around the page punch to make a quick and simple card

  2. Stunning Chris! Love the roses. Are the butterflies a punch or a cutting die?
